Jack V. Barnes, age 83, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away March 2, 2025, at his home.
Jack was born May 25, 1941, in Warren County, Ohio, to William E. and Ella E. Barnes.
He was married to Gayle Barnes, a US Army veteran, and worked as a lineman for the phone company for many years.
Jack was survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gayle Barnes; children, Travis Barnes, Mindy (Rob) Mata, Shandra Smith, Nick (Angie) Barnes, Bethany (John) Arnet, Lacy Lanning; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Brice Gray.
Private graveside services were held at 11AM, Wednesday, March 5, 2025, with Don Robers officiating. Jack's burial was in Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
