Chillicothe Charles E. "Eugene" Perkins, age 77, of Chillicothe, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away February 22, 2025 at the Chilllicothe VA Medical Center. Eugene was born January 5, 1948 in The Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia. He graduated from Nelsonville High School in 1966; served Three Tours in Vietnam with the US Marine Corps; member of the Nelsonville VFW; formerly worked for Asplundh Tree Service.Surviving are his children Eugena Guerra, Christina Renee Caldwell Leiter, Michael Paul Williams, Charles Perkins Jr., Vanessa Torres, Brett Sayre; several grandchildren; brother Gary Arnold; brother-in-law Danny Koska; several nieces and nephews.Eugene was preceded in death by his father Earnest J. Perkins; mother Phyllis Eleanor Drescher Perkins Arnold; wife Connie Perkins; brothers Sherman Perkins, Rev.
